The origins of Le Jardin Secret date back more than 400 years to the Saadian Dynasty. The site has been home to some of Morocco’s most important political figures. After falling into ruin in the 1930s, the complex was meticulously restored and opened to the public in 2016. The restoration project has revived the spirit of the traditional Islamic garden.

The complex is divided into two main areas: the Exotic Garden and the Islamic Garden. The Islamic Garden is the star of the show, laid out in a strict geometric pattern with a central fountain, representing a symbolic paradise. The design follows ancient Islamic traditions, with water channels bringing life and sound to the tranquil space.
